Create or access your account
Choose Sign up for a new account or Log in for an existing account. Email signup asks for first name, last name, email and password. Follow email verification when shown. An account by itself does not register you for a hackathon.
You can use GitHub, Facebook, Google or LinkedIn when that provider is enabled. If you started from an event or invitation, successful authentication returns you there after any required account steps.
Profile and settings
Profile and account settings cover public information, username, email, password, connected identities, preferences, privacy and notifications. Keep at least one working login method before disconnecting an identity.
Optional newsletters are a separate choice and can be withdrawn in notification settings.
